Un AppleScript para cambiar la resolución de pantalla

Si usas una MacBook o una Por con diferentes monitores, el cambio de resolución puede ser un poco fastidioso. Una posible solución es este AppleScripts de Jeff Kelly, que detecta automáticamente la resolución del monitor y cambia las ventanas con el tamaño apropiado:



tell application “Finder”
	set _b to bounds of window of desktop
	set _width to item 3 of _b
	set _height to item 4 of _b
end tell

if _width is equal to 1920 then set _nl to 260
if _width is equal to 1680 then set _nl to 140
if _width is equal to 1440 then set _nl to 20
set _nr to _nl + 1400
if _height is equal to 1200 then set _nb to 1126
if _height is equal to 1050 then set _nb to 976
if _height is equal to 900 then set _nb to 826

try
	tell application “Safari”
		activate
		set the bounds of the first window to {_nl, 0, _nr, _nb}
	end tell
end try

try
	tell application “Firefox”
		activate
		set the bounds of the first window to {_nl, 0, _nr, _nb}
	end tell
end try

	tell application “Mail”
		activate
		set the bounds of the first window to {_nl, 0, _nr, _nb}

Un par de parámetros que necesitas cambiar en el Applescript: si no encuentras una de las resoluciones , añádela después de la línea if _height is equal to 900 then set _nb to 826; el otro possible cambio son las aplicaciones; – el script abarca Safari, Firefox,Mail y Vienna, pero como ves, es fácil de añadir más.
